WE HAVE HEARD THE JOYFUL SOUND
Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for itis nigh at hand;
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Prayer for revival: II Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This is my prayer. Will you join me in praying for America, our homes, and our children. Use your words, and your broken heart but let our prayer be unified on II Chronicles 7:14 if you are called by his name, Christians?
Dearest Heavenly Father, You said “If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”. Lord, sin is running rampant in our lives, our land, our homes and in our churches. Our homes are in disarray. Our families are being destroyed by our sin. Our children are being raised without knowledge of your greatness and your salvation. Our nation is in trouble from within and without. Our churches have become social centers. Evil and ungodly people are trying to turn our land from your statutes. Confusion and every evil work is taking our homes and our children. We have grown weary of prayer and hungry for sin. We have departed from the teachings of the living God. We have become as the heathen that does not know you. Our land is filled with sin from the rising of the sun to the going down thereof. Father, we have heard of revival where you turned nations around and drew them to repentance. Whatever it takes to turn us oh Lord, do not let us be turned over to them that hate us. We submit ourselves to your chastening and loving hand. Heal our homes. Heal our familes. Heal our land. Restore the power of the preached word to the pulpit, fill our churches with heavenly fire once more. Take away the reproach that has gripped our people. Let us not be turned over to those who lead us away from your precepts. Teach us your ways again oh Lord for we so easily forget and are easily led astray. Lord, we pray for your Holy Spirit to break our hearts and reveal our shortcomings to us. Turn us oh Lord and we will seek your face. Turn us Lord and we will praise you with joyful lips and lift up our hands in praise. Forgive us for the great magnitude of our sins. Great are your mercies to them that seek your face. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord because it is your only begotten Son, Jesus who opened a door that no man can shut through his blood on that altar in heaven itself. Amen, let it be.
