The so called free world is crying for peace although most of this “Free World” is living under socialism. The peace they are crying for is not a victory against tyranny and terrorism but an acceptance of this same tyranny and terrorism.
We hear on the news of China and Taiwan with their fingers on the trigger with China itching for a fight. They want the free and democratic nation of Taiwan so they can put it back under the oppressive yoke of communism. The left and socialist from every nation will cry and whine that China has a right to Taiwan. No nation has a right to oppress people and put them under the yoke of bondage, taking away their basic human rights.
For years there has been terrorism and an ever growing militant buildup of violence surrounding Israel. Virtually all terrorism has its roots in a hatred for Israel. Have you ever asked yourself why the world hates Israel? You cannot come up with a viable answer. Any Bible believing preacher can show you however, although you probably won’t believe it unless you are a born again Christian!
Russia seems to be on the verge of returning to the hard communist government it has been in the past. Terrorist are being called freedom fighters by leftist socialist even though these terrorist are fighting for tyranny, religious bigotry and hatred. The socialist left in America wants America to join the rest of the world in condemning, not tyranny, but the battle against tyranny. I think the bigger question here is why the political left in America even is protective and defensive of tyranny and terrorism.
South America is a hotbed of violence that is quickly building to a viable military power as communism gets a stronger hold down there with more and more tyrannical leaders who are pro Castro and anti-American. The America left is supportive of Castro and his regime even though he has killed, tortured, maimed and massacred more people than can ever be accounted for and he holds power with an iron grip as do all tyrannical and communist leaders.
If you watch the news on a regular basis (Except CNN, CBS and MSNBC), you will undoubtedly come to the conclusion that most of the world is willing to accept tyranny and turn against Israel for a semblance of peace. They ignore the fact that you would then be giving these terrorist and tyrannical leaders a free hand to pursue their agendas. They are completely willing to sacrifice Israel as an acceptable price and avenue to their so called and completely false peace.
The entire world is crying for a leader who can pull off a peace without war. It is becoming quite obvious that the only way this can occur is for the world to turn against Israel since most of the world does not want anything to do with combatting terrorism.
This evident truth is actually prophesied in the Bible. In Revelations, chapter six, the Bible tells of this leader who comes onto the world scene carrying a bow but no arrows. It appears that he will use the threat of war but will have no real power to wage war. The real war will come from those nations surrounding Israel and the political atmosphere for this war is prophesied in Ezekiel, chapters thirty seven through thirty nine. There are myriad’s of others prophesies telling of these times in the Old and New Testament but I cannot go into them here. It would then be a book and not an article.
The amazing thing to me is that in our lifetime we seem to be seeing these things come to pass. Whether it is happening in our lifetime or not, I will give you a hint as to how the peace this world ruler brings will end. There will be three and a half years of an unbelievable peace and then the world will have horribly trying times like it has never before seen. It will end in disease, famine and war that is more horrible than anything the world has ever seen before according to the Bible. The Bible tells us that if those days were not shortened that no flesh would survive. This “shortening” is brought about by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
People are quick to listen to anyone who disputes the Bible but are antagonistic when it comes to the Bible. This loathing of God’s word will pave the way for this “Man of sin” as the Bible calls him but who the world will call the “Man of peace”. He will turn out to be the antichrist.
Rather then being distraught and depressed over these times, as Christians we should be rejoicing in the soon coming return of Christ. You may be someone who claims to be a Christian but you find you cannot contain your distress at these times. I would say that maybe your love for the world is greater than your love for God. Have you truly been saved? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb of God? Have you truly been born again?
